The Wildwoods Host All-New U.S. Junior Nationals Co-ed Basketball Tournament June 15-17

THE WILDWOODS – New to the Wildwoods for 2018, U.S. Junior Nationals brings the Wildwood Beach Bash Basketball Tournament to the Wildwoods Convention Center Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17.

The tournament will be played on eight full-sized basketball courts set up inside the 75,000-square-foot Oceanfront Arena. This inaugural event will bring 80 teams from seven states to compete over the weekend. There will also be a local bracket for this event showcasing four boys’ teams from the area. Ages of participants include under 12 through under 17.

U.S. Junior Nationals (USJN) will mark its 31st year of operation as the longest privately owned girls’ basketball exposure event in the country. However, this is the first year that USJN and organization owner Mike Flynn will bring its unique brand to the beach, while also launching its first USJN boy’s event all under one roof.

This event will be a perfect tune-up for July as teams prepare for many events, including the USJN Championships held at the Gaylord National Convention Center just outside of Washington D.C., which will welcome over 500 teams next month.
