The Wildwoods Convention Center to Host Sea Glass Festival Oct. 27-28

The Wildwoods Convention Center welcomes the North American Sea Glass Association (NASGA) for its 13th annual North American Sea Glass Festival at the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 28.

The festival, a favorite for adults and children alike, will feature a variety of sea glass artisans and authors from around the country, magnificent sea glass collections from all over the world, the highly anticipated Shard of the Year contest, and presentations by marble and bottle experts, as well as lectures on sea glass sourcing, and beachcombing in Puerto Rico, post-Hurricane Maria. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with Shard Identification experts about their own beachcombing finds.

The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The Wildwoods Convention Center, a beautiful facility located on the beach, is conveniently located and close to historic Cape May, as well as several other attractions, which makes the area an ideal destination for sea glass enthusiasts.

NASGA is a nonprofit organization positively supporting sea glass collectors and the sea glass community with festivals, information, educational opportunities, commercial membership and more. The primary goal of NASGA is to establish a community of informed collectors and sellers of sea glass that are educated on the characteristics and significance of genuine sea glass.
