The Wildwoods Boardwalk Spring 5K Fun Run, 1 Mile Kids Run and 1 Mile Family Walk to Benefit Special Olympics New Jersey

THE WILDWOODS – The annual Wildwoods Boardwalk Spring 5K Fun Run, 1 Mile Kids Run and 1 Mile Family Walk, scheduled for Saturday, March 25, will donate all proceeds to Special Olympics New Jersey to benefit more than 25,000 athletes from the Garden State.

The event is held in conjunction with Special Olympics New Jersey’s annual Spring Games Basketball Tournament, held throughout the Wildwoods. All runners are invited to attend the Special Olympics New Jersey Spring Games Opening Ceremony inside the Wildwoods Convention Center at 9:30 a.m.

The Wildwoods Boardwalk Spring 5K offers the option of a (non-timed) Fun Run 5K, 1 Mile Kids Run and a 1 Mile Family Walk. This Boardwalk “FUN” Run is a fundraiser open to the general public, and helps bring together Special Olympics athletes and the local community through the spirit of competition.

Registration opens at 9 a.m.; race starts at 10 a.m. on the boardwalk in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center. Awards will be presented to the top three male and three female finishers. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for students, and same day registration will be accepted.
