The July issue of Better Homes & Gardens – a nationally popular monthly magazine dedicated to food, travel and home improvements, named the Wildwoods one of the nation’s ‘Top 10 Beaches You MUST Visit With Your Family.’
The ‘Top 10 Beaches’ – named in random order – were selected via a collaborative effort between the Better Homes & Gardens magazine editors and their travel writer. The magazine praised the Wildwoods for its family-friendliness, lodging choices, and budget-mindedness: “From 1950s mod-style motels to boardwalk custard stands and amusement arcades, this classic Jersey Shore town packs a lot into its five miles. Take the kids crabbing; show them your Skeeball prowess; then dance the night away at an evening concert.”
