The Heat is on Through December at the Rusty Nail

The Rusty Nail on Beach Avenue in Cape May is now open through December, and celebrating with the biggest party of the year. The Heat Is On party will take place Sunday, Oct. 8 with food and drink specials, raffles throughout the day, live entertainment and family activities. Beginning at 12:30 p.m. and ending after midnight, the entertainment line up at The Nail includes Wesley Ochs, The Bastard Sons of Captain Mey and Hevee Levee. From 1 to 5 p.m., kids (and kids at heart) can decorate pumpkins, tie dye T-shirts or make lei necklaces, the better to blend into The Nail’s cool island vibe.

After The Heat Is On bash, The Nail will remain open weekends through December with live entertainment and daily specials. Don’t miss Fried Chicken Fridays, featuring Chef Jimmy’s famous recipe. On Saturdays, prime rib is the star of the show, and on Sundays gear up for pig and pig skins. Cheer on your favorite pro-football teams on all of the HD TVs (at the indoor and outdoor bar). The pig roast kicks off at 1 p.m., and kids are invited to decorate pumpkins from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sundays as well. Don’t forget – The Nail is dog friendly, and even Fido can enjoy Bowser beer from the coin toss through the fourth quarter. When the temperatures drop, come inside by the new, cozy indoor fire place.

The Beach Shack and Rusty Nail have turned on the heat and are ready to welcome guests through the end of the year. For more information, visit www.rustynailcapemay.com.
