Welcome art lovers to the Artists’ Studio Tours on the Cape! The Artists’ Guild of the Cape will host its Second Annual Studio Tour during Columbus Day weekend on Saturday, Oct. 12 and Sunday, Oct. 13. On each day there will be at least 19 studios open for free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to visiting art patrons and curious visitors. Artists will be creating their work and showing their wares in-home and studio settings, from Somer’s Point to Cape May Point, from Wildwood to Eldora. There are always potters, painters, carvers, writers, musicians, jewelers, metalworks, restoration studio, sculptors, actors, photographers, and musical instruments from wood and much more!
This is a chance for the general public to engage it’s art community and artists face to face in their home and studio settings, while touring about parts of Cape May County that are unheralded.
A map will be provided on their website, public Facebook page, and at each studio. There is a Saturday grouping and a Sunday grouping on the same sheet, with many appearing on both days.
If attendees get 13 “Signatures of Visits or 16 Artists,” they will be told of a final stop and “Wrap” party they may attend at a secret location on Sunday from 5-8 p.m, where they will be able to sit in on a full band rehearsal for an upcoming concert by our members.
The Artists’ Guild of the Cape is a non-profit, cyber, non-fee county-wide artist-only Facebook community of the Cape with 450 members that was founded in 2017.
