Tattoo Beach Bash Brings Over 300 Tattoo Artists to the Wildwoods

The Seventh Annual Wildwood Tattoo Beach Bash, presented by Rebel Image Tattoo, takes place Friday, August 12 through Sunday, August 14 inside the Wildwoods Convention Center – an event perfect for tattoo enthusiasts, as well as those interested in the unique art form of tattooing and body art design.

The Tattoo Beach Bash will bring the professional body art community to the Wildwoods for a weekend full of events. The event will host major national tattoo artists, as well as activities including tattoo contests, live tattooing, art exhibits, live entertainment, tattoo novelties and much more.

Over 300 tattoo artists will be attending, including celebrity tattooists such as Amy Nicoletto, formerly of LA Ink; Ink Master contestants Steven Tefft, James Vaughn, Gentle Jay Blondel, Halo, Lydia Bruno, Aaron Is, Emily Elegado, Julia Carlson, L.T., Cris Element, Angel Bauta, Caroline Evans, Mark Longnecker, Cee Jay Inky Jones, Jackie Jennings, Michael Paterek, Dave Clark, Picasso Dular and MMA Fighter Mark Matthews; Best Ink Season 2 finalist Alli Baker; Justin Coppolino of Oxygen Channel’s Tattoos After Dark; Tattoo Tony Rodriguez, personal tattoo artist to Bret Michaels, Gene Snitshy from WWE, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more.

The tattoo show will feature an array of entertainment including suspension shows and side shows including The Olde City Side Show, Hell Cat Penny, Enigma, Coffin Box Side Show, Sick Art Side Show, Circus Rejects, Marlo Marquise and Gisella. The event will also include tattoo contests of the day in a variety of categories and live music featuring Jersey Shore extreme metal band “Racing Fate” and local hard rock band “Gastonia.”

A swimsuit contest will take place on Saturday, August 13 at 7 p.m. sponsored by 247 Ink Magazine. The entry fee is $10 for ladies age 18 years old and over. Second and third place prizes will also be awarded.

Glass artist Mike Miller will be featured during the expo along with famous pin-striper Glen Weisberger. Vendors will be displaying novelty items for sale throughout the expo, from t-shirts to jewelry and much more.

Hours for the Tattoo Beach Bash are noon – 11 p.m. on Friday, August 12; 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 13; and 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 14.

Daily passes for the event’s activities are $20; weekend passes are also available for $40 for all three days. Children under 12 years old are free. Tickets will be available at the door the day of the event.
