Visitors come from all over stop by for refreshing treats from Fleck’s Ice Cream! Located in the Villas, Fleck’s is known for its larger than life portions and baseball-themed desserts and décor.
Established in 1993, Donna and Joe Fleck, along with their seven children (and two grandchildren), run their shop with love and laughter. The Flecks spend all winter thinking of new creations to serve in the summer, as well as taste testing new ice cream flavors.
Fleck’s serves different specials throughout the year and this season’s sundaes are out of this world! Every baked good is homemade by Donna, in their industrial kitchen. Join their “Apple Dumpling Gang,” featuring vanilla ice cream atop a home-baked apple dumpling, drizzled with caramel, whipped cream, and a cherry. Take a stroll through their “Black Forest Sundae,” which is vanilla ice cream, brownies, a dash of chocolate syrup, heaping with crushed cherries and topped with whipped cream.
For the peanut butter fan, grab a “PB Tandykake” which is vanilla ice cream, oozing with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce, surrounded by a homemade peanut butter tandykake, topped with whipped cream and a cherry!
If you want to stick with a trusty classic, try a “world series” sundae, which is a homemade Belgian waffle with powdered sugar, topped with three scoops of ice cream, any toppings you want, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry on top. This decadent sundae feels like hitting a home run! We tried this delight with scoops of banana, chocolate and sweet ‘n salty kettle corn ice creams. The sweet ‘n salty kettle corn ice cream is the perfect combination for those who want a sweet yet savory flavor! Topped off with sweet peanuts, whipped cream, hot fudge, and a cherry, this combination is great to share with the whole family or enjoy yourself.
