One of Stone Harbor’s most popular summer events returns on Sunday, May 28. For the ninth consecutive year, the Stone Harbor Farmers Market returns to the Water Tower Plaza located at 95th Street and Second Avenue. The Market will be held every Sunday through Sept. 3 from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
The Stone Harbor Farmers Market has become a destination event for residents and visitors throughout the southern New Jersey seashore region. The market is the only true farmers market locally offering fresh produce, meats, desserts and other items grown in and indigenous to southern New Jersey. You can have breakfast at the Market, and take home everything from salads to produce to breads and pasta to prepare a complete dinner.
The debut of the 2017 Stone Harbor’s Farmers Market on May 28 will feature a traditional parsley ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. where attendees will be able to receive a sample of the parsley along with a reusable grocery bag which they can use to shop the market. Entertainment will be provided by Jeff Nowmos guitarist weekly.
There is no fee to visit the Stone Harbor Farmers Market. Parking is available nearby in the Borough’s municipal parking lot, or 94th Street “free” parking lot.
