Elaine’s Cape May is a boutique hotel, a gourmet restaurant, a Victorian pub and an amazing dinner theater all wrapped into one, located just minutes away from the seaside town’s beaches, shops and restaurants. Its wide variety of services, amenities and events offers something for everyone. According to the Food Network, Elaine’s has one of the top five dinner theaters in the country and is a “must-do” experience while visiting Cape May.
In celebration of Halloween, Elaine’s is hosting multiple spooky special events for those visiting Cape May during its “second season.” These events extend into November for lots of frightening fun!
“The Mostly Dead” is Elaine’s most recent dinner theater show, bringing both laughter and tears to the audience. This “comedy with a bite” is full of crazy zombies, so don’t stray too far from your seat – you might just get attacked (or miss part of a great show)! The dinner theater show will run through the month of October.
Escape from the zombies and join Elaine’s for Ghost Hunter Weekend from October 16 – 18. Spend the weekend searching for spirits with help from the pros among Elaine’s documented haunted house built in the 1880s. The two-night stay at Elaine’s Victorian Inn includes a Welcome Reception on Friday evening with champagne and dessert, and delicious complimentary breakfast. Your stay also includes dinner and a show at Elaine’s famous Dinner Theater. Enjoy a private reading from a psychic, a Walking Ghost Tour around Historic Cape May, and a search for spirits using professional ghost detecting tools. Prepare to be spooked! Elaine’s will hold a second Ghost Hunter Weekend from November 6 – 8. Walking Ghost Tours are also available without the weekend stay.
If you prefer mystery over zombies and ghosts, attend Elaine’s Murder Mystery Weekend from November 13 – 15 and help crack the case! The two-night stay at Elaine’s Victorian Inn includes a meet and greet on Friday evening with champagne and dessert, where you will meet the potential suspects. Your stay also includes delicious complimentary breakfast and dinner and a show at Elaine’s famous Dinner Theater. After receiving clues throughout your weekend stay at Elaine’s, submit your theory and receive a prize if you guess correctly. Do you have what it takes to untangle the murder mystery?
Other Halloween events at Elaine’s include a family-friendly “not so scary” Haunted Breakfast complete with games, dancing and trick-or-treating throughout the house, a Drunken Pumpkin Carving Contest and a Zombie Costume Party. When the frightening fun is over, look out for Elaine’s “Scrooge Show” starting in mid-November!
