WEST CAPE MAY – The Cape May Artists Cooperative Gallery’s juried fine art show, “Small Wonders,” will be on exhibit with works for sale March 11 through 26. In this show, size matters. All 2D artwork is no more than 16 united inches (length plus width) including the frame, and 3D artwork fits inside an 8” x 8” x 8” cube including the base. Show award categories include Visual Art, Fine Crafts and Photography. An artists’ reception and awards presentation will be held Saturday, March 11 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Cape May Artists’ Cooperative Gallery, located at 122 Sunset Blvd., is the first and only artists’ cooperative in the county. It is comprised of a group of 17 South Jersey artists whose mission is to foster local art and contribute to the understanding and appreciation of the visual arts in Cape May County.

“It is inspiring to see how big ideas are visually translated into small wonders,” said Barbara Murphy-Leary, president of the Cooperative. “It is a delight to meet the artists and to talk to each about their work at the reception. The enthusiasm they share is contagious,” she added.

The gallery is operating under a winter schedule and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Parking is available behind the gallery. For information regarding shows, membership and events, call (609) 435-5253 or visit capemayartistcoop.com.
