Singer-Songwriter of Cape May Returns for 11th Year

CAPE MAY – The 11th annual Singer-Songwriter of Cape May will be held March 23-24 at the historic Congress Hall and 16 stages in Cape May.

Over 60 music industry professionals and 150 acts and artists will participate in the weekend conference and showcase. The conference features two afternoons of music business panels, workshops, musician mentoring and keynotes. At night acts and artists showcase their new music with performances at Cape May’s live music venues. All showcase performances are free, open to the public and start after 7 p.m.

The keynoters and featured performers this year are the Kennedy’s from New York City on Friday, March 23 and Dan Bern on Saturday March 24. The singer-songwriters will each deliver their keynote address to the conference at 5:15 p.m. and perform for the public after 8 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of Congress Hall. Tickets for the Ballroom concerts are $15 in advance and all ages and permitted to attend.

The 2018 SS Cape May showcase venues are: 501 Beach @ The Marquis de Lafayette, Aleathea’s Restaurant at The Inn of Cape May, The Brown Room, Boiler Room and Grand Ballroom at Congress Hall, Cabanas Beach Bar, Carney’s & Carney’s Other Room, Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May, Delaney’s Irish Pub & Grill, Elaine’s Dinner Theater, Fins Bar & Grille, Iron Pier Craft House, Mad Batter Restaurant and Bar, The Rusty Nail and Ugly Mug.
