Seventh Annual Colossal Coastal Roller Derby Expo

Hundreds of roller derby enthusiasts, skaters, hard-hitting games, vendors, and various other skate-inspired festivities will fill the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, August 29 for the Seventh Annual Colossal Coastal Roller Derby Expo.

Male and female roller derby skaters throughout the country are scheduled to participate in the games using the Modern Athletic Derby Endeavor Rule Set. Tournaments begin at 1 p.m. with the main event all-star game beginning at 6 p.m.

Last year, hundreds of skaters from all over the country converged in the Wildwoods for a weekend of roller derby workshops, games, fun, sun and various social events. From early-morning boot camps along the beach, to gripping games in the state-of-the-art Oceanfront Arena overlooking the beach and ocean, the Colossal Coastal Roller Derby Expo, hosted by M.A.D.E. – the Modern Athletic Derby Endeavor, is a one-of-a-kind roller derby event.

Tickets to watch the games are $12 online or $15 at the door; students and seniors are $10; children 10 and under are free, and family packages are also available. One ticket admits you to watch a total of five roller derby games.
