On March 14, Sea Isle City’s 25th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will take place starting at 3:30 p.m. along Landis Avenue, 93rd to 63rd Street.
Each year, since the parade first began, Mayor Leonard Desiderio and his family have hosted the popular event – and each year, the Mayor paints a bright green stripe down the middle of Landis Avenue on the morning of the parade, which makes the parade route extra-festive. Mayor Desiderio is the only known Mayor who annually paints a green stripe along his town’s main street for a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.
This year is the resort’s 25th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, the yearly march along Landis Avenue will also include past Grand Marshals and other familiar faces from previous parades.
