SEA ISLE CITY – On Friday, Oct. 20, Sea Isle City’s Division of Recreation will host the resort’s annual Halloween Parade starting at 7 p.m. along Landis Avenue, from 45th to 40th Street, where a wide variety of eye-catching participants will walk, cruise along on floats and entertain spectators lining the parade route.
Individuals and groups are invited to show their Halloween Spirit by appearing in the parade on Oct. 20 in the following categories: Walkers (up to age 12); Walkers (age 13 to adult); Families; Clubs & Organizations; Floats; and Non-Judged Entries. A panel of independent judges will determine the parade’s top entries, and prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Immediately following the Halloween Parade, spectators and parade participants are invited to attend the City’s annual Halloween Dance Party at the Excursion Park Band Shell, located on JFK Boulevard at Pleasure Avenue. During the Dance Party, families will enjoy a variety of classic Halloween music as they “kick up their heels” under October skies.
Spectators are welcome (and encouraged) to wear their favorite Halloween costumes to the Parade and the Dance Party on Oct. 20.
