Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival

Over 20 food trucks are going to be coming to the Jersey Shore to kick off the second season. The 2nd Annual Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival will be taking place from Sept. 11 to 13 at Kix McNutley’s, located at 63rd and Landis Ave. This year’s event will be declaring a winner in multiple categories, including best food truck.

This year’s food truck line up features a mix of returning trucks and exciting new additions. The returning lineup includes Shore Shake, El Lechon De Negro, Mike’s Pretzel’s, Kix Lincoln Grill, Zinna’s Bistro, Five Sisters, Ahh la Cart, Eat-A-Pita, Waffle De Lys, Marie’s Seafood, Vito’s Hot Dogs, and Sum Pig. New trucks for this year are PB&U, Shore Creperie, My Hola Paella, Mama’s Meatballs, Mobile Mardi Gras, Chick N’ Cone, On the Menu, and Luigi’s Ice Cream.

“We think people are really going to enjoy this year’s food truck line up,” said event organizer Denis Brown. “We really tried to pick the best food trucks in the Northeast and we can’t wait to crown a champion.”

The voting for best food truck will include local media critics and the people’s vote. The winners from those categories will all be in the running for the Best Overall Food Truck Award.

It is anticipated over 10,000 people will be in attendance over the three day period for the event. The weekend is the first one after Labor Day during the popular “second season” of the Jersey Shore. Last year’s event was held Sept. 26 to 28.

The event will include live music throughout the weekend, crafters, family entertainment, and more.
