Santa Visits in July Set for July 26

SEA ISLE CITY — Everyone’s favorite guy in the big red suit will be spending his summer vacation in Sea Isle City for a meet and greet with families. Santa Claus is set to make a special visit with children and their families at Excursion Park (JFK Blvd. and Pleasure Ave.) on Tuesday, July 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Hosted by the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization, Santa Visits in July is free and open to the public. It is a great opportunity for kids to ensure their wish lists are heard by the man himself and pose for a photo with Santa in his summer attire.

“We look forward to Santa visiting each year for his mid-year check in on the boys and girls in Sea Isle City,” said Chamber President, Christopher Glancey. “This is a popular event for families and is a great opportunity for families to pose for photos and celebrate Christmas in July at Excursion Park.”

Sporting his summer attire, Santa will spend time with each child, listening to wish-lists, posing for photos and more. He will also be handing out candy canes and special seasonal gifts to all of the good boys and girls who come to see him. Parents are reminded to bring their cameras so they don’t miss this great photo-op and are encouraged to take their Christmas card photos in the iconic Sea Isle City lifeguard boat adjacent to Excursion Park on JFK Blvd.

Following Santa’s appearance, residents and visitors alike are encouraged to grab their beach chairs and beach blankets and stick around for the City’s Free Family Movie Night featuring “The Santa Clause.” Free Family Movie night will begin at 8:30 p.m.

The Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization hosts the weekly Farmers Market every Tuesday and the Family Fun Night on Fridays, both at Excursion Park. The Farmers Market takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Aug. 30 and Family Fun Night is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through Aug. 26.
