RIO GRANDE – The early morning breakfast special at Rio Station is served every day from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. At just $2.22 including two eggs, two pancakes and two pieces of bacon, the deal is hard to beat.
“Many places serve specials just on weekdays,” said owner Ric Rutherford. “We wanted to offer a special that you could count on every day – even on weekends.”
In addition to the special, Krunchy French Toast, Chocolate Bread and Pecan Raisin Bread French Toast add to the variety of familiar offerings that have the Chef’s creative spin.
While still including traditional choices, special Rio versions of eggs benedict such as the “Crab Cake” made with crispy panko crusted KC’s crab cake, asparagus, poached egg and hollandaise, or the “Florentine” served with spinach, grilled tomato, feta, poached egg and hollandaise, both served on an English muffin, offer a new twist.
Additionally, cast iron skillet build-your-own frittatas have quickly become a favorite.
Breakfast is served every day from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Rio Station is located just outside of the Grande Center Mall at Route 9 & 47, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night seven days a week starting at 7:30 a.m.
