Queen of Bluegrass Next to Hit the Stage at Cape May Convention Hall

CAPE MAY – Next up on Cape May’s popular Concert Series schedule is the legendary bluegrass artist, Rhonda Vincent on Monday, July 11 at 8 p.m. Vincent and her award-winning band, The Rage, will bring an exciting and passionate performance to Convention Hall featuring top hits on the Country and Bluegrass charts.

Rhonda Vincent is an accomplished player in a variety of instruments including a bluegrass favorite, the fiddle, the mandolin and many more. Vincent has collaborated with legends including Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Alan Jackson and more, and has had a number of hits, including “You Can’t Take It With You When You Go,” “If Heartaches Had Wings” and “I’ve Forgotten You.” In addition to her top hits, the audience can look forward to legendary songs including one of Vincent’s favorite hits, Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” which she recorded and performed with Parton in Dollywood, Parton’s Tennessee theme park.

Vincent is a leader in the bluegrass genre, boasting eight International Bluegrass Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year awards, five Grammy nominations and five Entertainer of the Year awards from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America, among many other awards. Vincent is a world-class musician with an award-winning voice, setting the stage for a one-of-a-kind performance for all to enjoy.
