Polar Bear Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics NJ

Are you ready to get freezin’ for a reason? The Polar Bear Plunge in Wildwood is your chance to hit the beach in the winter (fun, right!?) and support training and competition for more than 25,000 athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey! In 2015, nearly 1,000 Plungers made their way into the icy Atlantic, raising more than $348,000 dollars for Special Olympics New Jersey. Help make 2016 our biggest year yet!

The Plunge will take place on Jan. 16, 2016 at the Wildwoods Convention Center and the Wildwoods Beach. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and the Plunge is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Registration

Registration is $25 and you must raise a minimum of $100 to take the Plunge (this includes your $25 fee). You’ll also get some cool Plunge gear as you reach fundraising milestones! Register online at www.plungewildwood.org or by mailing the Plunger Registration Form with a $25 minimum deposit to ensure you receive a Polar Bear Plunge sweatshirt.

Ten or more people can Plunge together as a team! Each Plunger on a team must complete a Registration Form (Check “Team” and use the exact same team name), sign the waiver at the bottom and submit the $25 minimum deposit by Jan. 12. to be on a team. All forms can be mailed individually, or by the Team Captain.

Online registration closes at midnight on Jan 12. You can register the day of the Plunge for $125.
