Whether you’re tapping your toes to live music or joining in on games like Quizzo and Name That Tune, the fun will last all night long. Check out who’s on the scene this week in Cape May County!

Friday, July 6

Jump into the weekend with “sass” as the SassFaction Band brings the party to Harbor View in Cape May on Friday. For the last 10 years, SassFaction has been entertaining both large and small crowds, and consistently packs the dance floor time after time. Their library of music covers genres such as Motown, funk, disco, classic and ‘80s rock. More than 25 medleys mix various artists for a fresh angle on well-known classics.

Down in Cape May, DJ Tony Stef mixes things up at Cabanas Beach Bar & Grill on Friday night at 10 p.m. His goal is to make people dance, so he makes it a point to cater to the musical taste of the evening’s diverse crowd. Without a doubt, Tony does a stellar job at keeping the party going. Drink and dance the night away while he plays your favorite genres like Motown, disco, funk, top 40 hits and more!

Saturday, July 7

The weekend continues Saturday evening with Love Junk taking the stage at Flip Flopz Beach Bar & Grill in North Wildwood from 5 to 9 p.m. With Jamie O’Donnell on vocals and guitar and Danny Lynch on vocals, guitar and drums, this duo strives to deliver the widest variety of music. Love Junk plays songs that keep the party going all night long, including pop, classic rock and R&B tunes. They make take up little foot space, but they sure do deliver a BIG quality sound and performance!

Go for a chill Saturday night with Cheezy & The Crackers at Beach Creek Oyster Bar & Grille in Wildwood. Music is their way of life – they eat, sleep and breathe it! Since 2005, Cheezy & The Crackers have been making crowds shake their stuff from coast to coast. They call themselves the Caribbean amphibians, blending rock, reggae and hip hop to create a sweet fusion and original genre.

Sunday, July 8

Wind down from the weekend with Chris Huff from 2 to 6 p.m. at the new PigDog Beach Bar BQ in Wildwood. Chris’s combination of guitar and vocals experiment with new musical stylings while playing the best of pop, rock and reggae. Although he is originally from New York City, Chris now resides and plays regularly in the Philadelphia/southern New Jersey area.

Monday, July 9

Get rid of those Monday blues with Marnie & Nate at Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille in Cape May from 4 to 8 p.m. Marnie & Nate are a talented and versatile acoustic duo. They play rock, blues, country and folk songs, and interpret them in a way that will leave you wanting to hear more. Marnie has a soulful, powerful voice that moves you, whether she’s singing a beautiful ballad or rockin’ a Janis Joplin classic. Nate is a fantastic guitar player who holds down great rhythm while he shines on fills and killer leads. His pitch-perfect harmonies add to their special sound.

Tuesday, July 10

On Tuesday at 1 p.m., head to Stubborn Brothers Beach Bar & Grille at Ocean Oasis Water Park in Wildwood for some afternoon tunes from Bill Caterini. This Jersey Shore musician performs in our local shore towns and beyond, gracing audiences with his acoustic sounds and gifted voice. His specialties include acoustic, rock, Americana, pop, oldies and more. His diverse mix keeps him in high demand, so don’t be surprised if you see him at two different places in one day!

Wednesday, July 11

Reggae Night at Tuckahoe Inn in Beesely’s Point is a night not to be missed! The Raggamuffins take the stage from 6 to 10 p.m. and bring a unique blend of traditional reggae combined with contemporary ideas. Their exciting live shows consist of originals as well as classics by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Gregory Isaacs, Toots and The Maytals, and more. Collectively, these four musicians form an authentic roots reggae band reminiscent of the bands of old with a new original sound.

Thursday, July 12

Come sing along with The Quietmen! On Thursday night at 9 p.m., Jamie Ratchford and his Quietmen bring an Irish party to Anglesea Pub in North Wildwood with acoustic and Celtic rock/folk music. Originating in Scranton, Pa., this family band has been touring all over the New Jersey and Pennsylvania areas for many years. With the ability to do an all-rock/folk show, an all Celtic show or some combination of the two, you never know what type of show you’ll get from The Quietmen! But no matter what, it’s guaranteed to be a good time.
