Whether you’re tapping your toes to live music or joining in on games like Quizzo and Name That Tune, the fun will last all night long. Check out who’s on the scene this week in Cape May County!

Friday, July 13

Kick off the weekend Friday night with Sunshine Jones at Boathouse Restaurant & Marina Deck in Wildwood, performing from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunshine performs an eclectic blend of music that spans over a half century, from early Jazz influences like Billie Holiday, to ‘70s folk artists like James Taylor, to 80’s and 90’s pop, through contemporary hits of today. Whatever she plays, her vocals and guitar strumming contain passion with a unique twist that hooks the crowds and leaves them coming back for more.

Also playing on Friday night at 7 p.m. is the Mighty Parrot Band, performing at Tuckahoe Inn in Beesley’s Point. Inspired by diverse influences, the Mighty Parrot Band brings the sounds of legendary artists from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s up to date with a one-of-a-kind summertime vibe. Dave Benson, Kelly May, Ben New, Terry Dougherty and Mike Biglin have a long history of live performances at the Jersey Shore and beyond, effortlessly mingling multiple music genres.

Saturday, July 14

Strap yourself in and get ready for the wind! The Enablers bring a whirlwind of fun to Boardwalk Bar & Grill on Saturday night at 10 p.m. With Rich Jolly on drums, Bill Nickles on bass, Sean McGovern on guitar, Bob LaBrum on guitar and vocals, and Mike Braciszewski on harmonica and serving as hype man, this band entertains crowds all over the Jersey Shore and Philadelphia areas. Come see The Enablers and you’ll hear all of your favorite rock ‘n’ roll tunes!

The BullBuckers put on a show full of big sound at Beach Creek Oyster Bar & Grille in Wildwood on Saturday. Influenced by the roots of American and Caribbean music, the BullBuckers are inspired by soul and rock ‘n’ roll. The band has melded these bold, real, gritty sounds into a cauldron of boiling sounds that is familiar yet distinctly their own.

Sunday, July 15

Based out of Key West, Fla., the ReelTing Steel Drum Band brings the true sounds of the Caribbean to Cape May. Performing at Cabanas Beach Bar & Grill on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. for Reggae Sunday, the ReelTing Band gets the party started with the lively, happy sounds of island life.

Monday, July 16

Just because it’s Monday doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! Join Rad & Kell from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wharf in Wildwood for some soulful music and a compelling live show. With influences from Amy Winehouse, to Weezer, to Bruno Mars and more, Rad & Kell bring a variety of pop songs with a twist to the Philadelphia and Jersey Shore areas.

Tuesday, July 17

Victoria Watts brings her talents to the Inlet on Olde in North Wildwood on Tuesday. Though a California girl at heart, her gypsy intuition led her all over the U.S. and abroad to build her musical experience. She blends her rock and pop influences into one cohesive sound to create a sound of her own that audiences love. Victoria performs both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other high caliber musicians, so you never know who you’ll catch on stage.

Wednesday, July 18

On Wednesday, husband-wife acoustic duo The Honeyhawks play and eclectic range of romantic and vintage folk and pop for patrons of Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille in Cape May. From 4 to 8 p.m., join them for Crush Wednesday and enjoy $5 crush drinks, $5 hummus & pita and $6 wings over their soothing tunes.

Thursday, July 19

Crowds at Kellys Café in Wildwood will be singing along with Johnny’s Cousin Steve on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Heavily influenced by the classic rock of the ‘60s and ‘70s, this one-man act plays classics from Neil Diamond to newer rock from Sublime, and everything in between. Johnny’s Cousin Steve produces a low-key yet high-energy ambiance, and encourages you to bring your requests to his already incredible playlist!
