The nightlife at the Jersey Shore heats up when the sun begins to set and the hottest local bands, DJs and musicians take the stage at your favorite shore-town bars, restaurants and clubs. Whether you’re tapping your toes to live music or joining in on games like Quizzo and Name That Tune, the fun will last all night long. Check out who’s on the scene this week in Cape May County!

Friday, July 26

Start your weekend at the Oceanic Hotel in Wildwood and watch Paul Tozz rock out from 2-6 p.m. Then, stay later into the night and join DJ Styles out at the Barefoot Bar at 8 p.m. DJ Styles will be spinning everything from Top 40 hits to Club music, so make sure to have your dancing shoes on!

Friday’s at The Wharf are all about refreshing drinks, waterfront views, and great music out on the deck. Head over to watch the extremely talented Danny Eyer Band play from 3-7 p.m., then stay later into the evening to see the Juliano Brothers play a great variety of music from 8-11 p.m.

Saturday, July 27

Head into Wildwood and relax near the pool at Flip Flopz Bar & Grill, which is open to the public for a $5 cover charge, where there will be DJ Entertainment from 2-8 p.m. If you’re spending the day at the beach and want to go to Flip Flopz later on, come at 5 p.m. to see Love Junk rock, where they’ll have you moving and grooving until 9 p.m. Continue jamming late into the night with The Heartbeats from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. This is sure to be a Saturday night dance party, so singing along and dancing is a must!

You won’t want to miss the smooth, rich sounds of Chameleon at Tuckahoe Inn in Beesley’s Point on Saturday at 6 p.m.! Like the adaptable chameleon, this band can switch between R&B, rock, Top 40, funk, jazz and blues effortlessly. With an exceptional vocalist and a powerful group of musicians, Chameleon has become the “can’t miss act” on the local club scene!

Sunday, July 28

Walk out onto the Wildwood Boardwalk to Stubborn Brothers Sunday afternoon to watch Bill Caterini start playing at 2 p.m. Grab a bite to eat or a drink and relax in one of the adirondack chairs out on the deck. If you’re looking for something to do earlier in the day, Stubborn Brothers is only steps away from the Wildwood beaches or the Morey’s Park Ocean Oasis Water Park.

Monday, July 29

On Monday night, Toll Man Joe’s brings Hawaii to Wildwood with the Mahalo Monday Luaus!  The family-friendly show features tropical music, a live hula show, and fire dancers for the complete luau experience. Seating times are 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for children 2-12 and can be purchased at tollmanjoes.com.

Tuesday, July 30

On Tuesday night, head down to On The Rocks at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry for waterfront views of the bay, plenty of menu options, and live music from the BitterSweet Duo. The BitterSweet Duo will perform pop music from 5-8 p.m. Enjoy Happy Hour from 6 p.m. to close, with drink specials and select “five buck bites.”

Wednesday, July 31

Slow things down with C. Lynne Smith at SAX Restaurant + Lounge at The Reeds at Shelter Haven from 8-11 p.m. C. Lynne will be playing a country, folk, rock, and blues originals and covers late into the night. With a variety of styles and her ability to combine genres, C. Lynne will show you the beauty of her music and give you a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy your evening out in Stone Harbor.

Thursday, August 1

Outdoor live music is the best kind of music. Five Times Famous is playing at Mudhen Brewing Company, so you’ll want to stop by! Enjoy the food and drinks on the outdoor patio at 6 p.m. while the acoustic duo plays covers of all kinds.
