Whether you’re tapping your toes to live music or joining in on games like Quizzo and Name That Tune, the fun will last all night long. Check out who’s on the scene this week in Cape May County!

Friday, August 16
Start your weekend at Shamrock Beef & Ale with live music from Billy Jack. The Wildwood legend will be playing everything from classic rock and pop to country and parody songs on his acoustic guitar. If you’re looking to jam to a particular song, it can’t hurt to put in a request. You can also enjoy music from DJ Frankie Miller later in the night, so Shamrock Beef & Ale is the place to be on a Friday night!

Visit Dogtooth Bar & Grill in Wildwood where DJ Denny Oh is hosting “Name That Tune” at 9 p.m. Come play the legendary trivia game with Denny Oh and compete for the first place prize! Stick around for Denny Oh’s dance party afterward featuring tunes from the oldies to today’s hits that will have you on your feet.

Saturday, August 17
On Saturday, head over to 5 West Pub in North Cape May for a great time in a cool, casual atmosphere, awesome cocktails, stellar food, and fun live music. Join Joe Grassi from 6-9 p.m. on the patio while you sip on an ice-cold beer or a specialty cocktail. Or choose from fan-favorite appetizers, including pulled pork sliders, dirty shrimp, or lobster mac and cheese, to enjoy while you’re jamming out!

You won’t want to miss the smooth, rich sounds of Chameleon at Tuckahoe Inn in Beesley’s Point on Saturday at 6 p.m.! Like the adaptable chameleon, this band can switch between R&B, rock, Top 40, funk, jazz and blues effortlessly. With an exceptional vocalist and a powerful group of musicians, Chameleon has become the “can’t miss act” on the local club scene!

Sunday, August 18
If you’re in the mood for Mexican, head over to Joe Joe’s Place Tacos and Tequila for live music and great margaritas! Enjoy acoustic music from Rhett Tierney from 6-10 p.m. With over 30 tequilas behind the bar, you’re guaranteed to find the perfect combination for your taste buds!

Monday, August 19
On Monday night, Toll Man Joe’s brings Hawaii to Wildwood with the Mahalo Monday Luaus!  The family-friendly show features tropical music, a live hula show, and fire dancers for the complete luau experience. Seating times are 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for children 2-12 and can be purchased at tollmanjoes.com.

Tuesday, August 20
Head down to On The Rocks at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry on Tuesday night for waterfront views of the bay, plenty of menu options, and live music from the BitterSweet Duo. The BitterSweet Duo will perform pop music from 5-8 p.m. Enjoy Happy Hour from 6 p.m. to close, with drink specials and select “five buck bites.”

Wednesday, August 21
Wednesdays at Urie’s Waterfront Restaurant are for caricatures and live music. Bring your friends and family for dinner and watch the Big Daddy Duo perform everything from the 50s to today from 6-9 p.m. Order a classic burger or choose from a variety of seafood selections on the menu. While you’re there, sit down and pose to for a caricature done from 6-9 p.m.

Thursday, August 22
On Thursday night, DJ Mikey D is taking over Owen’s Pub at 9 p.m. to play all your favorite hits! Stop by earlier in the night to have great drinks and food to fuel up for the rest of your night. Plus, enjoy cheeseburgers for $3.95 all-day Thursday!
