Get your tickets while they last for the summer Broadway Series that combines the exceptional talents of the Ocean City Pops Orchestra, the Ocean City Theatre Company and top theater professionals. Tickets are now on sale for “Fiddler on the Roof” (July 11-14) and “Mary Poppins” (August 8-11).
Songs like “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Matchmaker, Matchmaker” have made “Fiddler on the Roof” a timeless favorite since it debuted in 1964. Equally popular among audiences of all ages is the musical “Mary Poppins” – with songs like “Spoonful of Sugar,” “Chim Chim Cheree” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
Both shows are at the Bill and Nancy Hughes Performing Arts Center at Ocean City High School (beach block of Sixth Street). “Fiddler on the Roof” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on July 11, 12 and 14 with a 2 p.m. matinee on July 13. “Mary Poppins” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on August 8, 9 and 11 with a 2 p.m. matinee on August 10.
