Morey’s Piers: Not Your Average Boardwalk Experience

Although Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks defines itself as a classic seaside amusement park, it certainly stands out amongst others of its kind. Located on the famous Wildwoods Boardwalk and complete with three piers, two water parks, multiple dining establishments and more, Morey’s puts its own twist on the boardwalk experience.

Mariner’s Pier, located at Schellenger Avenue in Wildwood, offers the atmosphere of a traditional amusement park with classics like the Super Scooters, Teacups, Musik Express and Giant Wheel. However, do other traditional amusement parks let you eat breakfast on their Ferris Wheels? Hop aboard Morey’s Giant Wheel and experience Breakfast in the Sky – a gourmet, white linen and china breakfast offering spectacular views of the ocean and all of the Wildwoods. Mariner’s also offers irresistible boardwalk treats like pretzels, fried Oreos, ice cream and more, and a variety of tacos at the Taco Joint. If you’re looking for a delicious, sit-down family meal, visit Jumbo’s Boardwalk Grille & Eatery for wraps, seafood, sandwiches and Chef Wally J’s famous Cuban spiced fries!

Behind Mariner’s is Raging Waters Water Park, a wet and wild adventure for the entire family. Parents can enjoy private cabanas, a float-up snack bar and the lazy River Adventure, while small children can play in the unique kiddie play areas. Or, kids can challenge mom and dad on the cargo nets and climbing ropes in the three-level activity area. For the thrill seekers, plummet over Shotgun Falls or drift through the Wildwood skyline on the Sky Pond Journey!

Surfside Pier, located at 25th Street in North Wildwood, mixes a variety of kiddie rides with family thrills in an environment fueled by neon colors, bright lights and music. This pier is home to the newly refurbished Great Nor’Easter roller coaster, which is now faster, smoother and bluer. The beloved coaster recently underwent a $5 million re-tracking project, resulting in a 95-foot drop, a sleek ocean-themed paint job, and 2,170 feet of new and improved track that will deliver a smoother and faster ride – so smooth your grandmother could ride it!

Also located on Surfside Pier is Joe’s Fish Co., a contemporary family restaurant featuring fresh seafood, local craft beer, signature cocktails and live music. Joe’s lively second floor bar overlooks the lights and action of the pier, so grab a stool, sip on a cold one, and take in the sights and sounds of the Wildwoods.

This summer at Surfside Pier Morey’s is offering weekly “Beyond the Boards” VIP Tours, giving guests an exclusive behind the scenes look at the complexity of the amusement and water park scene. End your tour with a Curley’s Fries buffet bar at Joe’s Fish Co.!

On the beach behind Surfside Pier lies a small getaway in Ocean Oasis Water Park + Beach Club. Among an exciting collection of waterslides and play areas, you’ll find private cabanas in an atmosphere of tranquility. Float through the Lazy River or sip on a drink from the swim up bar, or opt for a specialty cocktail at Stubborn Brothers Beach Bar & Grille. Pair it with one of the mouthwatering menu items!

Adventure Pier between Spencer and Youngs avenues in Wildwood is the pier that ROCKS, packed with high thrill extreme rides, the famous Great White wooden coaster and helicopter rides, plus a stage that features School of Rock’s live entertainment all summer long! Check out the [artBOX], a 10,000-square-foot gallery made from 11 re-purposed shipping containers, showcasing local artists’ paintings and crafts.

Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks are packed with plenty of thrills, fun and adventure, making for a memorable boardwalk experience that will keep you coming back for years to come. Come see for yourself why Morey’s Piers was voted the best seaside amusement park in the world by “Amusement Today!”
