CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Middle Township has new and exciting activities for this year’s Independence Day celebration starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 1. The event will go until 9 p.m., at which time the fireworks will start. The event will be held at the Clarence Davies Complex, 626 Goshen Rd., Cape May Court House. Mayor Michael Clark stated he is looking forward to great Independence Day celebration in Middle with lots of fun activities, and hopes to see a great turnout from residents.
In addition to nearly a dozen games such as tug of war, potato sack races and hula hoops, there will also be a pie eating contest (by age), live music by Loud ‘n Klear, and waterslides and water games. New this year, the Township’s three elected officials are joining in the fun and will be ready for your throws as they sit in the dunk tank! Food, including barbeque chicken, will be available for purchase.
