The 2022 Cape May Summer Concert Series has offered audiences a season of classic melodies, eloquent lyrics, and superb musicianship. On Tuesday, August 30, Marc Cohn closes out the series with a performance at Cape May Convention Hall.
Singer-songwriter Marc Cohn won a Grammy award for Best New Artist in 1992, and his signature song, “Walking in Memphis” earned him nominations for Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
He continues to write and record critically acclaimed songs that combine the passion of rhythm & blues, soul, and gospel music with evocative lyrics. The legendary Bonnie Raitt expressed sincere admiration for “his ability to mesmerize every audience he plays for.”
The show will be held at Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Avenue in Cape May at 8 pm.
