The Circle Tavern is a rustic corner pub located on the corner of Dune Drive and 21st Street in Avalon. It sits on the first floor of the original Princeton Hotel which was built in the late 1800s/early 1900s. Open year round, The Circle Tavern serves lunch and dinner daily. The menu offers favorites like burgers, nachos, wings, salads, tacos, Reubens, mac and cheese, pizza, meatloaf sandwich, hand-cut fries and more, all made with love by Chef Jeff Staino and crew. Choose to eat outside on the dog friendly patio, or hang inside at a table or the bar. Inside, you’ll find TVs, a pool table and the ever-popular Golden Tee Golf game to entertain you. During off-season, The Circle Tavern still features DJs and live music, as well as a juke box. During weekends in the summertime, The Circle Tavern opens up to The Princeton nightclub which includes three clubs under one roof. Walk into the Rock Room and enjoy the live band, then check out The Princeton’s two rooms with a dance floor and DJ! The Circle Tavern has a DJ on Fridays and live music every Saturday with Side Arm from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
