Natali Vineyards is located within the Cape May peninsula, moderated by two large bodies of water – the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay. This configuration and climate parallels a famous French wine-growing region, the Bordeaux, perfect for growing the fine Vitis vinifera grapevine of French and Italian wines.
With seven acres and 5,500 vines yielding 15 tons of high quality fruit, Natali Vineyards winemaker and founder Alfred Natali has planted 14 different varieties of French, Italian and Spanish grapes to discover which grow best in Cape May. The result is unique artisan blends that represent the best wine Cape May can bear, created from a combination of skill, creativity, knowledge and labor in the vineyard. Today, Natali Vineyards produces over 1,500 cases of wine a year, and boasts 30 different types of wine which have won 80 medals in multiple competitions.
In recent years, Natali Vineyards has expanded its winemaking craft to the production of fruit wines in addition to classic wines. Alfred enjoys experimenting with new fruits, especially those grown by local farmers. Varieties include tropical pineapple, clean and refreshing strawberry, nutty and tart beach plum and more.
Natali Vineyards is open daily year round; tasting room hours vary. Natali Vineyards also holds various events throughout the year such as Wine it Down Wednesdays in the summer featuring live entertainment, tastings, wine by the glass or bottle, sangria and wine slushies, and gourmet cheese & crackers. Bring your own food to Natali Vineyards for a picnic in the vineyards, and let your furry friend tag along to this pet-friendly place!
