Jersey Shore Pops Presents White Christmas at the Middle PAC

The Jersey Shore Pops Annual Holiday Show will feature Local Stars

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Middle Township PAC will host Linda Gentille and the Jersey Shore Pops’ annual holiday show on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. The show, “White Christmas,” will feature many local stars including conductor Linda Gentille, the Dueling Violins, and Sopranos Jacklyn Buckingham and Michelle English.

Included in this star-studded event will be the popular mother-daughter team known as the Dueling Violins. Susan Elsayed, former Concert Master of the Ocean City Pops, has been performing with her daughter with the Pops since its inception in 2009, and the duo has become one of the most popular attractions for the Pops orchestra in recent years.

Also starring in the show will be “Sounds of the Season,” a quartet of men who hail from the local area. They are members of the Cape Harmonaires based in Cape May Court House which is a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). Collectively, its members have over 100 years of singing experience and many championships between them. This four-part a capella ensemble features Cal Johnson – Tenor, Bob Rullo – Lead, Don Young Sr. – Baritone, and Jerry Davis – Bass.

The Jersey Shore Pops is a big band orchestra with a string section modeled after the orchestras of the Frank Sinatra era which featured a string section along with the big band sounds. The orchestra was founded by entertainer and conductor Linda Gentille in 2009 and features 25 of the finest New Jersey musicians either born or based in New Jersey. It has become one of the most popular orchestras at the shore.
