Jersey Shore Pops Begins its 7th Season at the PAC

Linda Gentille Leads the Popular Orchestra Again

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Jersey Shore Pops continues its popular Summer Concert Music Series with Linda Gentille as the conductor once again. This will start the 7th season for the Pops orchestra at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center. All concerts are on Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. during the series.

Gentille, when not conducting the Pops during the summer, travels eight months a year around the world on luxury cruise lines as a headline entertainer. Gentille began her career as a teenage protégé of Liberace in Las Vegas. She followed in his footsteps as a dynamic headline entertainer, combining virtuosic piano skills with a comedic stage presence and wowing audiences around the globe. She moved from California to New Jersey in 1992 to perform at the Trump Taj Mahal. Her parents are still residents of California, so she travels coast to coast frequently during her touring season.

While performing on such cruises as Regent, Oceania and Celebrity, she is always looking for other talented headliners to perform with the orchestra. Gentille comments, “I am thrilled to be bringing Princess Entertainer of the Year finalist Lovena Fox to our series this year in Broadway Divas. South Jersey concert goers will just love her. I saw her perform on a cruise a few years ago and was blown away by her amazing talent.”
