Jeeps Invade Wildwoods’ Beaches Again this Father’s Day Weekend

Get ready for the 2nd annual Jeep Invasion on the Wildwoods’ beach between Lincoln and Spencer Avenues over Father’s Day Weekend, Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19. Over 700 Jeeps of all makes and models will be showcased throughout the weekend along with fun activities for the entire family.

The Jeep festivities kick-off at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 17 at Fox Park (Montgomery and Ocean Avenues in Wildwood) with a live band, food trucks, beer garden and vendors. Entertainment will feature Weird Science and Flash Forward who will bring high energy 80’s style musical performances.

On Saturday, June 18 a “Show & Shine” will be held on the beach from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Schellenger Avenue, followed by Jeep obstacle course challenges on the beach between Lincoln and Spencer Avenues.

Festivities continue on Sunday, June 19, with vendors and obstacle course challenges from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a jungle themed beach parade beginning at 10 a.m. Participants are encouraged to decorate their Jeeps and the owner of the best-decorated Jeep will be awarded a prize.

The Jeep Beach Invasion is FREE for the public to attend, but Jeep participants will be charged a registration fee. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization for children suffering from life-threatening medical conditions.
