Jeeps Invade Wildwood!

WILDWOOD – Get ready for the first-ever Jeep Invasion on the Wildwoods’ beach between Lincoln and Spencer Avenues over Father’s Day Weekend, Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21. The entire event is free to the public to attend.

The Jeep Invasion kicks off on Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m. at Fox Park (Montgomery and Ocean Avenues in Wildwood) with Jeeps on display, live music featuring the John McNutt Band, food trucks, a beer garden and lots of vendors.

On Saturday, June 20, the event moves to the Wildwood beach between Spencer and Lincoln Avenues from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. where Jeeps of all styles and years will be on display along with food and merchandise vendors. Show and Shine judging will be from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. followed by the Obstacle Course races starting at 1 p.m. and the awards ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

The obstacle course re-opens from 9 a.m. – noon on Sunday, June 21; and from 1 – 3 p.m., there will be a ‘50s and ’60s Doo Wop themed beach parade. Participants are encouraged to decorate their Jeeps, and the owner of the best-decorated Jeep will win a prize.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization for children suffering from life-threatening medical conditions.
