The 65th annual Night in Venice is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 at 5:30 p.m., and boats are still invited to participate in the parade.
It’s a chance to be part of the highlight of the summer season in Ocean City – with thousands of spectators lining the bayfront and thousands more attending private parties at homes along the route from the Ocean City-Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue. A spectacular fireworks display caps off the bayfront celebration.
The first 75 boats to register will receive an “Ocean City Swag Bag” filled with goodies. Boat owners also get a complimentary photo of their boat in the parade and a commemorative mug.
The theme of this year’s event is “Celebrate: 65 Years of Night in Venice.” Boats and homes can be decorated with themes that bring back favorite memories from NIV history. The theme is optional – boat owners are welcome to choose their own themes.
