The City of Cape May is excited to present a special lineup of events celebrating Independence Day 2019. On Wednesday July 3, Pure Prairie League and Orleans will be performing at 8 p.m. at the Cape May Convention Hall. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the Convention Hall or online at CapeMayCity.com.
The annual fireworks extravaganza will be staged at 9 p.m. on July 4 from a barge at sea in front of Congress Street Beach. In the event of rain or other severe weather, the fireworks display will be moved to July 5.
Independence Day celebrations continue with a free concert from Chester County Concert Band on July 5 at 7 p.m. in Rotary Park. The Kiwanis Club of Cape May will hold their Annual Pancake Breakfast at Cape May Convention Hall on Saturday, July 6, 7:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. For tickets to the breakfast, visit CapeMayKiwanis.com.
The City of Cape May will also host the annual Independence Day Parade at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 along Beach Avenue.
Additionally, a variety of free entertaining concerts will be held in Rotary Park located at 400 Lafayette Street starting at 7 p.m. as follows:

Friday, July 5 – Chester County Concert Band
Saturday, July 6 – America’s Sweethearts
Sunday, July 7 – Cape May County String Band
