Some communities even offer special holiday tags, making for a festive addition to any beach tag collection. Read on for information about purchasing beach tags this holiday season in each municipality.

Avalon

2017 Avalon Holiday Beach Tags will be on sale on Festive Friday and Snowfest Saturday during Thanksgiving weekend. The limited edition tags cost $22 and come in decorative packaging, making the perfect gift. The tags can be used throughout the 2017 beach season in both Avalon and Stone Harbor, as the communities honor each other’s beach tags. The tags will be on sale from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 and Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Avalon Rescue Squad Building, located next to the Avalon Police Department on the west side of Dune Drive at 31st Street. The tags can be purchased by cash or check. Stone Harbor

Stone Harbor’s 2017 Holiday Beach Tags will be available for purchase while supplies last inside Borough Hall, 9508 Second Ave., during the “It’s a Wonderful life in Stone Harbor!” Island Holiday celebration. Tags cost $22 and are good for the 2017 beach season in both Stone Harbor and Avalon, as the communities honor each other’s beach tags. Borough Hall will be open Friday, Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for you to purchase Holiday Beach Tags. Sea Isle City

Limited edition 2017 Sea Isle City Christmas Beach Tags are on sale for $20 each (the pre-season rate) while supplies last. The tags are good for the 2017 beach season in Sea Isle City. Each tag is packaged in a decorative box to make gift-giving easier! Cape May

Cape May’s 2017 Seasonal Beach Tags go on sale Dec. 1 at the City Hall Tax Office, 643 Washington St. The City Hall Tax Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays. Tags cost $20 each (the pre-season rate) and are good for the 2017 beach season in Cape May. A maximum of five seasonal tags per person, per individual can be purchased. Tags can also be ordered by mail, with a $3 shipping fee per order. If two names are listed on your check, you are allowed up to 10 seasonal tags.
