Noone has also made the foray into live theater, receiving rave reviews for his roles in the British productions of “Dick Wittington,” “Aladdin” and “Sinbad the Sailor.” In the 1980s, he appeared on Broadway, portraying Frederic in the New York Shakespeare Festival’s production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Pirates of Penzance.” His exceptional performance led to a reprisal of the role at the renowned Drury Lane Theater in London, and on the musical’s national and international tours.
