From British Pop to Bayou Soul, the Cape May Summer Concert Series offers a variety of outstanding performances aimed at a range of musical tastes. The series continues with concerts by Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone on Tuesday, July 26, and Marc Broussard on Wednesday, August 3.
One of the standouts of the British invasion, Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone are known for such hits as “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” and “I’m Into Something Good.” The group has sold over 52 million recordings, earning 14 gold singles and 7 gold albums.
Marc Broussard has a gift for channeling the spirits of classic R & B, rock, and soul into contemporary terms. His soulful singles, “Where You Are” and “Home” were Top 40 hits in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
