Have a Blast All Day on the Wildwoods Boardwalk

The Wildwoods’ award-winning Boardwalk is 38 blocks of family fun, packed end to end with shops, amusement piers, water parks, eateries, live entertainment and more. Your family can have a blast on the Boardwalk morning, noon and night, with plenty to do within its 2.5-mile span!

Take a morning bike ride on the boards and view the Wildwoods from a bike seat. Bicycles are allowed on the Boardwalk from 5 a.m. until 11 a.m. during weekdays, and until 10:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays. Bike on over to Adam’s Restaurant on the Boardwalk in North Wildwood for a delicious breakfast with a view. Choose from hot cakes, fresh eggs, French toast, omelets, crisp waffles and more. At 11 a.m., stop in your tracks and stand attention as the “Star Spangled Banner” plays over speakers throughout the entire Boardwalk.

Spend your afternoon staying cool at one of three water parks on the Wildwoods Boardwalk. Splash Zone Water Park offers a variety of experiences and water adventures for all ages! Within the clean, safe park, you’ll find 300,000 gallons of water-based fun including body, tube, flume, raft, interactive, speed and children’s water slides, as well as other play areas and the Giant Bucket which spills four tons of wet refreshment! Morey’s Piers Raging Waters Water Park is a wet and wild time for the entire family. Parents can enjoy private cabanas and the lazy River Adventure, while small children can play in one of two unique kiddie play areas. Or, kids can challenge mom and dad in the three-level activity area. For the thrill seekers, take the plunge down one of the large waterslides! Morey’s Ocean Oasis Water Park + Beach Club is a tropical island getaway. Among the most exciting collection of waterslides and play areas at the Jersey Shore, you’ll find private cabanas surrounding a fire pit, forming an atmosphere of tranquility.

A diverse range of lunch and dinner options fill the Wildwoods Boardwalk. Pizza seems to be the favorite among visitors, but we have some more unique suggestions. The Doo Wop Diner is a jumpin’ 50’s burger and shake joint serving the best burgers, fries, sodas, malts, jumbo hot dogs, floats, ice cream, sundaes and much more. Dine among cool doo wop music and memorabilia, creating a one-of-a-kind experience the entire family will love. Grab a Weiner is a quick yet delicious option, serving specialty hot dogs, sausages and fresh cut French fries. We suggest the Doo Whopper, Grab a Weiner’s best dog: deep fried and served with mayo, tomato, lettuce and bacon!

Shop ‘til you drop on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! Visit 5 Mile Marketplace, Boardwalk’s Best Gifts & Variety or Elby’s Variety for everything Wildwood under one roof. Don’t miss the entertainment the Boardwalk has to offer! Monday through Thursday, the Boardwalk hosts parades at 7:30 p.m., and Friday night at 10 p.m., a fireworks spectacle lights up the night sky.

If all of this fun and excitement wears you out by the end of your visit to the boards, the world-famous Sightseer Tram Car will transport you from one end of the Boardwalk to the other.
