When Bill Nichols’ mother, Dorothy, was looking for great furniture for her home at a discounted price she was at a loss. It was then that the formation of Harbor Furniture Outlet began. Harbor Furniture Outlet has been in business for over forty years providing great furniture at a discounted price. Nichols’ uncle made the first piece of furniture for the new store. The store has been family owned and operated since its conception.
Nichols’ family was previously in the fish business and they began selling fish and furniture out of their store right on the harbor, hence the name Harbor Furniture Outlet. Eventually, the family phased out fish and decided to stick with selling great furniture at a great price.
Harbor Furniture has maintained their harbor roots by offering seashore décor. They are a specialty shore décor shop making it a great place to decorate your beach home. The store has a bright and airy feel to it and the furniture they feature. You can find wicker and rattan as well seashore patterned furniture.
