The “New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship Awards in Visual Arts Exhibition” in the Gallery of Fine Craft at WheatonArts and Cultural Center comes to a close on Oct. 7, 2018. This exhibit showcases the visual artists who received Fellowships in 2016, 2017 and 2018 from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts in the areas of painting, works on paper, media, interdisciplinary performance, sculpture, crafts and photography.
Exhibiting artists are Adam Bell, Anonda Bell, Oliver Diaz, Hagit Dror, Karen Guancione, James Jansma, Kay Kenny, Mark Ludak, Harry Naar, Irena Pejovic, Laura Petrovich-Cheney, Theresa Pfarr, Diana Jean Puglisi, Laura Quattrocchi, Wonju Seo, Ellen Singer, juliacks, Melanie Stewart, Ira Wagner, Ken Weathersby, Tenesh Webber and Katherine Wilt.
Oct. 7 is also the second and final day of WheatonArts’ 20th annual Festival of Fine Craft, happening rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission fees are $10 adults, $9 senior adults and $7 students. Children 5 and under are free.
The New Jersey State Council on the Arts Visual Arts Fellowship Showcase is a co-sponsored project of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center.
