“Good Day Philadelphia’s” Mike Jerrick, Alex Holley, Bob Kelly and Jennaphr Frederick will broadcast live from Boardwalk and Schellenger Avenue in Wildwood on Friday, July 1 from 7 to 10 a.m.
During the 7 a.m. hour, a group taking part in “Battle of the Bands” will perform the song “Wildwood Days” before Jennaphr visits Uncle Bill’s Pancake House.
Mayor Ernie Troiano, Jr. will present the anchors with a “Key to the Beach.”
During the 8 a.m. hour, the group “A Shot of Southern” who is opening for Tim McGraw’s Wildwood concert will perform. Jennaphr will also visit Schooner Island Marina where she will be crabbing and fishing from the boat.
The morning will be filled with many fun activities including the anchors participating in a “workout on the beach” and a curly fry eating contest!
A Patriotic Pooch Fashion Show will also take place where dogs will come decked out in 4th of July finery.
The anchors will also speak to a man who has worked for Tram Car for the past 40 years and he will show them the Tram Car named for him.
During the 9 a.m. hour, the anchors will pick the winner of a Tim McGraw lookalike contest. The winner will receive a pair of tickets to his July 4th Wildwood concert from Cat Country Radio.
The Wildwood Beach Patrol will do a safety demo with Bob Kelly and Jennaphr will visit Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks where she will try out one of their famous rides.
Viewers will also have a chance to enter to win a Mazda Contest.
