Get hooked by the third annual Wildwood Fishing and Boating Expo, set to make a splash on Saturday, January 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, January 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year, the expo has expanded to an impressive 80,000 sq. ft. of indoor display area within the Wildwoods Convention Center.
This year’s expo promises an unforgettable experience with special guest speakers Captain Steve Spagnoula of Wildwood Crest and Jenni Ackerman. Captain Steve will share his insights into slow pitch jigging techniques for various local bottom-dwelling species, while Jenni will delve into the art of jigging fluke over structure using a bump-it-forward technique.
Boating enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore a wide array of boats, including the latest 2024 models from 10 different dealers. Participating dealers include Keywest, Tidewater, Pioneer, North Coast, Cape Horn, Bentley, Star Craft, UAB Inflatables, Sun Chaser, Well Craft, Scarab, Ranger Tugs, World Cat, Nautic Star, Quest, Carolina Skiff, Kawasaki, and Yamaha wave runners, along with Mercury, Suzuki, Honda, Tohatsu, and Yamaha service and re-power boat trailers. All boats are available for visitors to climb aboard, inspect, and purchase.
With 100 vendor booths featuring 70 different vendors, attendees will find everything they need to make the 2024 Fishing & Boating Season a success. Products available for purchase include rods, reels, tackle, hooks, weights, gaffs, nets, apparel, gear, marine services, custom fabrication, custom rods, towers, out-rodders, rod storage, tackle bags, jigs, spreaders, dredges, spoons, artificial lures, rod and lure making supplies, sunglasses, electronics, lights, nautical and marine art, and more.
In addition to the exciting lineup, the expo is offering a FREE YETI 65 A Day cooler giveaway. A Yeti 65 cooler will be given away each day of the WWFBE. Winners need not be present, and Saturday’s entry tickets are not valid for the Sunday drawing.
Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy free seminars covering various topics. Check the website for specific seminar times and speakers.
