Feasting on History: The 17th Annual Restaurant Gala and Cape May County’s Premier Networking Event

Historic Cold Spring Village kicks off the 2017 season with its signature fundraiser, Feasting on History. The annual restaurant gala is one of the most anticipated social events of the season, offering patrons an opportunity to network with businesses and the community before the summer season begins. Feasting on History is now in its 17th year and will be an amazing event.

Feasting on History will be held at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at the Cape May Airport on Tuesday, May 2 at 6 p.m. Cape May County’s favorite restaurants, wineries, distilleries and breweries generously donate popular foods, signature dishes, wine, craft beers and desserts. Last year, over 600 guests enjoyed a night of food, music and networking while celebrating the mission of Historic Cold Spring Village. The presenting sponsor of Feasting on History is Sturdy Savings Bank. Additional support has been provided by the Delaware River and Bay Authority, Gaiss’ Market, Atlantic City Electric, and Ford-Scott and Associates.

Feasting on History not only supports the Village and its mission of historic preservation, history education and heritage tourism, but it also offers guests the opportunity to celebrate their favorite restaurants and dining experiences in the company of friends and colleagues. Guests have an opportunity to find new dining locations and rediscover veteran ones as they taste favorite dishes, desserts and drinks throughout Cape May County. This year’s event will also feature a Chinese auction, where guests can purchase tickets for a plethora of themed gift baskets. Proceeds from the 17th annual restaurant gala qill go to the HCSV Foundation.

Tickets to Feasting on History are $85 per person, or $800 for a table of 10. Seating will only be reserved for groups of 10 guests. For all other guests there will be open seating. Advanced ticket sales only. For tickets or sponsorship information, please contact Sandy Nickel at (609) 898-2300 ext. 11 or snickel@hcsv.org.
