Family Fun Extravaganza at Congress Hall ✯ Come And See The Show

Congress Hall in Cape May presents an interactive musical dinner theatre experience with “Into the Third Century.” Sing along with the cast while enjoying a delicious three-course meal with tableside wine. The play begins in 2066, when the 2016 Bicentennial Time Capsule is unearthed. Annie, Congress Hall’s newest employee, joins Congress Hall’s owner Curtis Bashaw (played by himself). Delving into the time capsule to discover its contents, they are transformed back in time as history appears before their eyes like magic. Audiences will enjoy learning all about how Congress Hall hosted four presidents, and survived fires, hurricanes and wars over the course of 201 years to continue to serve its visitors today.

The performance is accompanied by a three-course family-style dinner with tableside wine. Grown-ups will love the pot roast and fish, while kids feast on chicken fingers with mac n’ cheese (although its family style, so even the grown-ups can get a bite of mac n’ cheese). The young and young at heart are asked to come on stage during sing-alongs, assisting Blue the Pig and the rest of the cast.
