Fame and Fortune came together in late 2010 and actually became a band in 2011 and have consistently been performing at the hottest clubs, bars, and professional parties. Each member of the band has their own personality, which come together perfectly when they perform live.
Angel Santiago is the lead singer of the group and has a phenomenal vocal range. He has done many national tours with “Days Like These”. He has such a beautiful and powerful voice that will instantly catch your attention. Angel is also an Elementary School teacher so he keeps busy with work and the band during the school year.
Mike McCaffrey is the guitarist of the band. He is also an audio engineer for Undertone Studios and obtained his degree at the School of Audio Engineering in Manhattan, New York City.
Dan Turkos on bass really knows how to lay down the music. He holds multiple degrees in Double Bass and Jazz Studies. Turkos currently teaches bass at Westtown School.
The drums are played by KC Chann who has been playing since he was four years old. He can also play the guitar, bass, keys, and sing. Chann does live and studio engineering and teaches drums at M&M Music in Vineland, New Jersey, and Studio 1311 in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania.
“We have a high quality tech crew that works with us along with a light crew. We put on awesome light shows and make sure we have good sound quality to put on a show that everyone will enjoy”, KC assured me.
Fame and Fortune has a song selection that will make fans of all ages want to keep coming back for more. They always have a pretty big turnout and some fans will keep coming back each time they play because they enjoy the performance so much. The band plays covers that not many people have heard covered before and they love meeting and greeting the locals that come to watch. The band added a new singer recently, Jenn Fauver, to bring a new dynamic to the band and try to add a little something extra to the amazing performance that they already give.
They play the greatest top hits, dance music, rock, and the classics. They are always available for hire for weddings, events, bars and venues. For booking you can reach Shore Bets Management and Promotions, who they have been with since 2012, to check their availability and how far they will travel.
If you are interested in seeing one of their performances, you can catch them at Westy’s Irish Pub in North Wildwood every Wednesday beginning on July 31st all the way up until August 28th at 7 pm. Those on 7-mile island can see them at Jack’s Place on August 8th at 10 pm.
You can guarantee that this friendly, outgoing and talented band will make you get up and want to dance with them as they perform all the songs that you love. Be sure to check them out when they are in town. It will be a performance you won’t forget.
