Events this Week: October 4 – 11, 2023

This weekend is another “big one,” the last before Halloween events become the primary thing to do around here. The big Ocean City fall block party (with fireworks!) is this weekend, as is Cape May Brewing Co’s big fall bash, and Avalon’s big fall festival. The weather is supposed to be windy Saturday but sunny and still Saturday – keep an eye on the weather before heading out. But you knew that already!

Artists Open Studio Tour 

Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  

The Artists Guild of the Cape will open up each member’s art studio for a county-wide, free tour! Come meet local artists – find the map of participating art studios at www.theartistsguildofthecape.com or visit “The Artists Guild of the Cape Studio Tour” on Facebook. This is a great way to get a sense of the local art scene. Start your tour anywhere on the map and meet 20 artists at 17 studios in 2 days!  

Avalon Arts & Seafood Festival

Kids’ Event: Predict the Weather With Joe Martucci

Join us for a special visit with Meteorologist Joe Martucci of The Press of AC. Kids can learn about how meteorologists predict the weather and use a green screen to bring the weather to life!

West Cape May Lima Bean Festival
