Ocean City Farmer’s Market first day

The weekly marketplace opens for the season at the Tabernacle Grounds. The Farmers Market returns 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Wednesday.

Avalon Dune & Beach Walk

Wednesday, June 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

48th Street Beach Entrance, 48th St & Dune Dr, Avalon

Everyone likes to visit the beach, but what do you know about the plants and animals that live there? Meet at 48th Street and Dune Drive in Avalon for an interpretive walk with a naturalist along the maritime forest and dune trails to learn about the flora and fauna that call this area their home.

Carroll Gallery Exhibit: Quackery – The Age of Questionable Medical Marvels

Wednesday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Carroll Gallery at Physick Estate

See this exhibit of some of the so-called medical marvels of the day during the late 19th and early 20th century. Learn about the societal and economic forces that unleashed a wide range of questionable treatments on the public driven by get-rich-quick schemes in the miracle cure business.

Cape May Pride March

Thursday, June 22 at 5:45 p.m.

Starts at the Cove Beach and marches to Cape May Convention Hall

Celebrate Pride Month with locals and visitors. Come wearing your rainbow best! This short march will be followed by a time of celebration and speakers. After the march, the group will move to the Inn of Cape May for an after-party.

Wildwood Music in the Plaza Kick-Off

Thursday, June 22 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

This free concert kicks off Wildwood’s “Music in the Plaza” concert series.

Wildwoods Boardwalk Friday Night Fireworks

Friday, June 23 at 10 p.m.

Mariner’s Pier, Wildwood

The weekly fireworks return! They can be viewed anywhere on the boardwalk but are best seen near the middle pier.

Ocean City Library Summer Book Sale

Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24

Ocean City Public Library

Come grab some cheap literature as the library gets rid of media it no longer needs. Friday will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Antique Auto Show

Saturday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tabernacle grounds, 6th & Asbury Ave, Ocean City

This will be the 68th annual Dave Blyler & Herb Godfrey Memorial Antique and Classic Auto Show and Parade held in beautiful Ocean City. A boardwalk parade will be held at 2pm.

Wings and Things Arts and Crafts Festival

Saturday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum

There will be Art Classes, Craft Vendors and even a Swing Band on Saturday.

Cold Spring Village Quilt and Fiber Arts Show

Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Historic Cold Spring Village

Local quilters will display their finest patterns at this annual show at the Historic Cold Spring Village. Come out to see the quilt show, speakers, and demonstrations. Saturday visitors may vote for their favorite quilts at the Viewer’s Choice Quilt Show in the museum’s Welcome Center and/or vote on their favorite Half Square Block entry at the Cold Spring Brewery.

Symphony at Surfside Park

Sunday, June 25 at 7 p.m.

Come see the acclaimed Bay Atlantic Symphony play pieces right by the water. This is a free event.

Sara the Turtle Festival

Tuesday, June 27 from 7 to 9 p.m.

2 41st St, Sea Isle City (Excursion Park)

The Sara the Turtle Festival will feature a hands-on Wildlife Display (with live animals), as well as Environmental Exhibits by the Wetlands Institutes. There will also be a “Diaper Derby” Baby Crawling Contest, face painters, a Bounce House and strolling entertainers.

Avalon Beach Movie – “Minions: The Rise of Gru”
