On most Thursdays the staff at Belleplain State Forest takes guests on a guided hike, usually 2 or more miles in length. Bring good walking shoes, bug spray, and your excitement to see some nature! 

Christmas in July at Naval Air Station Wildwood

Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, 500 Forrestal Rd. 

Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum is hosting Christmas in July. Event festivities include live music, a meet & greet with Santa Claus, free face painting, and unique photo opportunities that are perfect for this year’s family Christmas card at a decorated Hangar #1. Event included w/ standard admission, and free to members and active duty military.  

Ocean City Fishing Pier Open House 

Thursday, July 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. 

14th St. & Boardwalk, Ocean City  

The Ocean City Fishing Club is inviting shutterbugs and other visitors to tour its pier and clubhouse at 14th St. & Boardwalk. Visitors will also be able to make an optional monetary donation or canned goods donation to support the Ocean City Food Cupboard. This is one of two days a year when the Pier is open to non-members, weather permitting.

Competition in rescue boards, rowing, swimming and running events. The Alumni Awards will take place after the awards ceremony.  Sponsored by the Wildwood Beach Patrol honoring the memory of Captain Frank “Dutch” Hoffman.

Cape May’s 91st Annual Baby Parade

Don’t miss the most adorable parade returning to the Nation’s Oldest Seashore Resort. The 91st Annual Cape May Baby Parade, and begins at 10:00 am at Congress Street and Beach Avenue. The procession down Beach Avenue will conclude at Convention Hall near Howard Street. 

Farm Weekend at Historic Cold Spring Village

Experience life on an Early American farm through hands-on activities and exhibits at Historic Cold Spring Village’s ‘Down on the Farm’ Weekend, Historic Cold Spring Village, an open-air living history museum, presents the trades, crafts, architecture, and lifestyles of an Early American, rural South Jersey farming community. The Village is also home to a working 8-acre heritage farm complex. Special exhibits throughout the Village will include collections of antique and modern farming equipment and tools. Visitors can tour the historic Corson-Gandy Barn, c. 1880, which is home to Levi the Village horse. Guests can visit the Village sheep, pigs, chickens, and calves. 

Community Band by the Sea Free Performance
